GRIEFSHARE RETURNS THIS SEPTEMBER

For more than 25 years, GriefShare has helped people navigate the pain of losing a spouse, child, family member or friend. This faith-based support program offers understanding, encouragement and practical tools for moving through grief one step at a time.

Following a very successful inaugural season at St. Paul’s, a new 13-week GriefShare session will begin on Tuesday, September 1, and will meet each Tuesday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.  Kate Carson will once again serve as facilitator, joined by co-facilitators Cathy Olsen and Marty Stinson.

Each weekly session features expert video teaching, supportive group discussion and use of a participant workbook that can be referred to long after the program ends. The cost of the workbook is $20.

Although GriefShare is Christ-centered, it welcomes people of all faiths – or no church background at all. In fact, many participants simply come seeking hope, understanding and companionship during one of life’s most difficult seasons. Everyone is welcome.

Registration is requested. To register, visit www.griefshare.org, click “Find a Group,” and search for Bullville, or contact the St. Paul’s parish office. For more information, call Kate Carson at 914-850-5107.
